I have had bad times with free online patterns so thought if I buy a book that cost nearly 20 dollars it would have all mistakes proof read and corrected. The first pattern I tried said to ch 49 and dc in the 4th ch from hook... leaving 47 sts... well no way is 49-4 47... so there we are. I keep ending up with either 45 sts or having to dc in 2nd ch from hook or chain more than it says. Maybe it's me and not the book? Anyway for this price, I can tweak the free ones just as well and it won't cost anything. This problem is also in other of the patterns in this book so it may be my math but the actual performing of these two things never end up with the number of sts it says it's supposed to. I keep seeing instructions to start in the 4th chain and end up with only two less than chained in the first place.Product details
